Pope Francis is requesting opinions from Catholics at all levels on the preparatory document, Relatio Synodi, which was issued after the 2014 Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on Family, and the problems which face families in the 21st Century. In his remarks, the Pope stated that Relatio Synodi would be the preparatory document, or Lineamenta, for a larger Synod of Bishops on Family that will meet in 2015.
In order to accomplish this task, the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth requests the faithful to prayerfully and concisely fill out a survey questionnaire. The deadline is March 15, 2015. Once all the data is collected, it will be forwarded to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to be compiled and then sent to the Vatican for inclusion in the 2015 Synod.
